What's New

• Ask AI: A new AI chat mode in the command panel with markdown rendering, slash commands, model picker, and a frosted-glass design. Supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Ollama, MLX, and OpenAI-compatible providers. Type /guide to get help.
• Draggable Command Panel: Drag the command panel anywhere on screen. It magnetically snaps to center with visual guide lines and remembers its position between sessions.
• Folder Preview on Hover: Hover over a folder in compact mode to see its contents in a preview window with inline search and keyboard navigation.
• Pinned Tabs per Space: Each space can now have its own set of pinned tabs. Right-click a space icon for intelligent pinned recents.
• Drag-to-Resize: Resize the sidebar width by dragging its inner edge.
• 14 New Browsers: Added support for 14 additional browser variants including Wavebox, with full Live Tabs integration.
• Open With Browser Profiles: The "Open With" and "Open All With" menus now show browser profiles (e.g. Chrome Work, Safari Personal) alongside browsers. Pick a specific profile from the sidebar context menu, Option+Click popover, or Command Panel.
• Air Traffic Control with Browser Profiles: ATC rules can now route links to specific browser profiles, not just browsers. Create and manage rules via in-app AI or the MCP server.
• Clipboard Awareness: The command panel detects URLs on your clipboard and offers a "Paste and Go" action.
• Reveal in Sidebar from Command Panel: Search for any link, file, or folder in the command panel and reveal it directly in the sidebar.
• Firefox Bookmark Import: Import bookmarks directly from Firefox.
• Use Case Presets: Choose from ready-made presets - Tab Manager, Bookmark Manager, and more - that configure SupaSidebar for your workflow in one click.
• Redesigned Onboarding: A new onboarding flow that asks what you want to accomplish and configures features accordingly.

• Command Panel Search: Search history, better ranking, folder search, category browsing, uncapped results, and 7 search scopes via Shift+Tab.
• Live Tabs Refresh: Collapsible sections, unified row actions, Switch to Tab, deduplication, and a cleaner layout.
• Drag and Drop Across Sections: Drag links from Live Tabs, Recents, or saved links directly into Pinned Tabs, folders, or other spaces.
• Pinned Tabs Drop Zone: The pinned section now shows a visual drop zone when empty, making it clear where to drop items.
• Cross-Space Reveal: Revealing a link from the command panel now correctly switches spaces, scrolls to the item, and highlights it.
• MCP Air Traffic Control: The MCP server now supports Air Traffic Control rule management - create, update, and delete rules.
• Open All With Browser: Right-click any folder and choose "Open All With" to open all links in a specific browser or profile.

Bug Fixes

• Trial Expiration: Fixed trial expiring instantly or prematurely after activation.
• Command Panel Crash: Fixed a crash when typing long search queries.
• Favicon Flash: Eliminated favicon flicker on app restart.
• Save to Current Space: Pressing Cmd+Shift+S to save a recent link now uses the current space instead of a random one.
• Sidebar Position on Hover: Opening the sidebar on mouse hover now appears at the screen edge, not attached to the browser.
• Custom Icons: Local file, folder, and app links now correctly display custom icons.
• Smart Folder Arrows: Smart folders now respect the arrow indicators preference.
• Paste Link Crash: Fixed a crash when pasting a link into the sidebar.
• Open in Finder: Right-clicking a file or folder link now correctly shows "Open in Finder" instead of a browser name.
