v0.17.3 - May 3, 2026

Cmd+T for Browsers, Faster Tab Switching & Search Fixes

Release Notes

What's New

  • Use Cmd+T in Browsers: You can now use Cmd+T to open the command panel only while a browser is active. Other apps still receive Cmd+T normally, and SupaSidebar skips the browser-scoped binding if your global command panel shortcut already uses Cmd+T.
  • Faster Live Tab Switching: The command panel now remembers which browser tabs you used most recently, so open tabs surface first when you search or open the panel with no query.
  • Open Preferences from the Floating Button: Right-click the floating button and choose Open Preferences to jump straight into settings.

Improvements

  • Better Live Tab Results: Live tabs now compete more naturally with saved links in command panel search, with recently focused tabs winning close matches.
  • Cleaner Command Panel Empty State: When live tabs are available, the default command panel view prioritizes your open browser tabs before pinned utility actions.
  • Documentation Compatibility Note: The docs site pointer has been updated for the latest MCP compatibility line.

Bug Fixes

  • Domain Search Accuracy: Searches like x.com now require a literal domain match instead of matching every .com result.
  • Duplicate Live Tab Suggestions: Saved links that are already open as live tabs no longer appear twice in command panel search.
