v0.17.6 - May 8, 2026
Self-Updating Links, Firefox Live Tabs & In-Place Tab Replace
Release Notes
What's New
- Auto-update Link Power-up (Beta): Saved links now follow you through episodic content like anime, manga, web serials, and courses. Right-click any saved link and choose Power-ups > Auto-update link, then pick which number in the URL is the episode or chapter. The link advances automatically as you read or watch, and a history submenu shows the last 20 visited URLs.
- Replace Active Browser Tab with ⌘⌥-click (Beta): Hold Cmd+Option and click a saved or recent link in the sidebar to navigate the active browser tab in place instead of opening a new one. Falls back to a normal open if the browser can't mutate its active tab.
- Firefox Live Tabs: Firefox, Nightly and Developer Edition now support Live Tabs and tab switching natively, without an extension. Multiple Firefox-family browsers running side by side stay properly separated by profile.
Improvements
- Browse Recents and Saved Without Searching: Switching the command panel to the Recents or Saved scope now shows a populated list of your items right away, so you can browse and pick without typing a query.
Performance
- Faster Command Panel: Reduced lag and empty flashes when switching scopes. The command panel feels snappier overall.
Bug Fixes
- Sidebar Stops Attaching to Browser Dialogs: The sidebar no longer attaches to Safari Settings, Customize Toolbar sheets, Atlas login overlays, Arc file dialogs, and other browser popups, sheets, and modals. Closing a popup also redirects the sidebar back to the main browser window.
- Smart Attach Works for All Browsers: Prevent-overlap, Smart Attach, fill, and maximize adjustments now apply correctly to Comet, Zen, Dia, Wavebox, Helium, every Chromium variant, and every Firefox variant. Previously these browsers were silently skipped.
