v0.19.0 - May 20, 2026
File Browser, Custom Colors & Smart Air Traffic Control
Release Notes
What's New
- Custom Colors for Links and Folders: Pick any color for individual links and folders to make them stand out, in both the sidebar and compact mode.
- Per-Tab Colors for Live Tabs: Assign colors to specific URLs so your live tabs are easier to scan at a glance.
- File Browser Popover: Hover or click a saved folder to browse its files in a Finder-style column view with single-click open, available in the sidebar and compact mode.
- File Actions in the Folder Browser: Right-click files inside the folder browser to Open, Quick Look, Open With, or Move to Trash.
- File Preview Tooltip: Hover a file in the folder browser to see a deeper preview column with file details.
- Finder Actions for File Links: Right-click a file-type link in the sidebar for direct Finder actions like Reveal, Move to Trash, and more.
- Smart Air Traffic Control Suggestions: Air Traffic Control now suggests rules based on which sites you actually open from the sidebar.
- One-Click Air Traffic Control Rule From the Command Panel: When the URL you're opening matches a strong pattern, the command panel offers to create the rule and open it in the suggested browser in one step.
- Auto-Route Links to a Space's Linked Profile: Linking a browser profile to a space now sends every link from that space to the linked profile, with a "Profile linked" badge in Air Traffic Control to tell auto rules apart from manual ones.
- Edit Note From the Link Row: A new Edit Note button appears on hover, so you can jot a note without opening the link details.
- View-Mode Switch in Live Tabs and Recents: Toggle between compact and detailed views for Live Tabs and Recents right from the section header.
- Mute Routine Notifications: A new Notifications pane in Preferences lets you silence Save Page, Copy URL, Open Pin, Save All Tabs, Add from Finder, and Paste Link toasts. Error toasts always show.
- In-App Update Indicator: A subtle badge appears in the app when a new version is available to install.
- Quick Toggle for Browser Fill on Hide: A new "Browser Fills Space When Sidebar Hides" entry in the sidebar overflow menu flips browser expansion on or off without opening preferences.
Improvements
- Unified Right-Click Menus: The sidebar and compact mode now share identical context menus for links, folders, and spaces.
- Pin Tab Right-Click Menu: Pin tabs now use the full link context menu, with Move to Space/Folder, Open With, Power-Ups, and a color tint that paints the tile itself.
- Cleaner Context Menu Layout: Link and folder context menus are reordered and divided into logical groups, with the most useful actions at the top.
- Cleaner Sidebar Overflow Menu: Set-once toggles moved into Preferences > Sidebar so the three-dot menu only shows what changes day to day.
- Hover-to-Switch Between Live Tabs and Recents: Hover the section header to swap between Live Tabs and Recents in one click.
- Live Tabs Empty State: Live Tabs now shows a friendly "Open a browser to see your tabs" state instead of disappearing when no browser is running.
- Matching Recents Header: The Recents header now matches Live Tabs with a hover background, chevron, item count, and tap-to-collapse.
- Clear a Space's Theme Color: The space theme color menu now leads with a "None" option, so you can drop a color back to the default.
- Hide the Drag-to-Pin Hint: A new Appearance toggle hides the dashed drop target when you have no pinned tabs.
- Larger Default Preferences Window: Preferences now opens at a roomier size so dense panes don't feel cramped.
- Separate Hover Delays for Folder and File Previews: Folder previews and the Finder file preview each have their own hover delay control in Preferences.
- Power-Up Episode Badge: The Power-Up episode badge sits cleanly at the trailing edge of the row.
Bug Fixes

- Exporting and re-importing your data now preserves every link, folder, and space field intact.
- Cmd+Ctrl+1 through 9 can now be used as pin shortcuts.
- Sidebar preferences no longer shows the Auto-Tile shortcut twice.
- The sidebar now hides instantly when you Cmd+H, quit, or close the browser's last window.
- When you quit one of multiple attached browsers, the sidebar jumps to the next one.

- Arrow keys keep working in the sidebar after closing the command panel.
- Arrow navigation now skips collapsed Unfiled groups.
- Recents now reliably records every page you visit.

- Fill Remaining Space now works on whichever browser window is visible.
- The Link Auto-Update power-up now updates reliably.
- Maximized browser windows now resize correctly when the sidebar opens beside them.
